Magistrats européens pour la démocratie et les libertés (MEDEL), created in 1985, represents European associations of judges and procsecutors commmitted for democracy, judicial independence and the protection of fundamental rights.

The Dutch Foundation Rechters voor Rechters ("Judges for Judges") has been set up to support judges abroad experiencing problems related to their profession, especially when their independence is threatened.

ACA Europe is the association of the Councils of State and Supreme administrative courts of the European Union. Its website features a "Tour of Europe" on the administrative justice systems of the different European countries.

The US National Conference of the Administrative Law Judiciary (NCALJ)is part of the Judicial Division of the American Bar Association. AEAJ and NCALJ concluded a Memorandum of Understanding in 2019, committing to enhance mutual knowledge on their respective work.

ERA, created in 1992, is the Academy of European Law, based in Trier.

ETJN is the network of national judicial schools and academies at the European level, providing a wide array of exchanges, seminars and other activities to European judges. AEAJ and EJTN co-organise annual judicial training seminars.

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights provides support, assistance and expertise to participating States and civil society to promote democracy, rule of law, human rights and tolerance and non-discrimination.

The Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union (FRA) is a Vienna-based EU agency collecting and analysing data on fundamental rights protected by the EU Charter.

The European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA, previously EASO) is a Malta-based EU agency in charge of the cooperation with Member States on asylum.

The Counsultative Council of European Judges (CCJE) is an advisory body representing judges within the Council of Europe. It delivers each year an in-depth opinion on a topic related to justice. AEAJ is an observer.

The CEPEJ is the Commission for the Efficiency of Justice within the Council of Europe. AEAJ is an observer in different working groups.

The European Law Institute (ELI), created in 2011, in a pan-European think tank focusing on European legal development. AEAJ is an ELI institutional member.
